Fashion Show.

Yesterday, along with 2 friends I went to support another friend by going to see her lovely work at her foundation degree graduate fashion show.
My camera was being weird so didn't get the best shots and missed a shot of one of my friends outfits, which I was very annoyed about. Also from where I was sitting i could only get side shots and because i'm so tiny (and didn't want to stand up ) I kept getting peoples heads in all the shots so had to crop all my photos.

Stop Motion Teaser.

Quick teaser of a stop motion I am working on at the moment.
I took a few continuous photos of my self a few weeks ago and when I was looking back at them on the computer a few of them came out blurry but when I was flicking through them quite quickly it looked really cool and it reminded me of the Thoughtless song and music video by Korn so I thought i'd play around with it.
I have made a longer version but I don't think its that great so I may be working on this piece for a while as it's quite tricky and I don't have the best video editing software!
I do love the teaser though! Very short and very creepy!

Art Thief.

While sorting through some of my images I found a photo I took of a sculpture I made as a final piece for one of my Alevel art projects.
I really loved this final piece as it was creepy but I wasn't allowed to take it home though because I plastered ontop of one of the schools mannequins and couldn't get it out without destroying the piece so I had to leave it.
The other day my little brother told me that someone who is in sixthform now has stolen my piece and worked on top of it! They've apparantly added eyes to it! I'm really annoyed about it! He said I should go to the sixth form art exhibition and look at it. I think I might go and smash it to the ground! I really want to go and find out who ruined my lovely work and glare at them from across the room. Stupid art thief :(

Scanning Frenzy.

Haven't posted in a while so am going to try and change that this week. Got a few things i'm working on at the moment, so once they are finished I shall post them up on here.
I'm sorting through old drawings i've done and scanning them so that I can work on them on the computer and make them better. So I will be posting those aswell.

I've also started on a stop motion! Really excited about it. I'll explain more about it in another post as I shall hopefully post a teaser of it soon. It's quite creepy though. Well it is set to a Korn song so has to be a bit creepy I guess!

Lie to me.

An old image I made in which I integrated text but this was done on the laptop rather than straight onto the eyes! Would have been difficult for me to try this straight onto my own eyelids!

Lost.

I love taking photos of text written directly onto parts of the body. Might try and make a series of this. Just got to thing of a cool concept. The above photos are of me just playing around with the first word the popped into my head which was lost.

B+W Wig!

Wig fun!

Got a purple wig! Thought I'd play around with my camera and take photos of me in the wig. I want to try and get photos of others wearing the wig but as always I test images on myself. Was really fun though. Had to lock myself in the bathroom as its the only place i can get privacy in the house, turned out good for me though as the lighting was lovely and the tiles look cool.
